I am not too sure what I could have shown them Marian, but I suppose I could have given it a go!

I agreed with the public vote tonight, and with the judges decision to put Kate and Gin through. Dean was good, but there are so many like him, and he will no doubt find a niche for hiself on the West End Stage

I totally agree Marian---I really think that Dean sang thw wrong song tonight--he needed something more punchy.

I loved Kate and Gin--I know how hard it must have been to train Gin.

I thought that Dean was better in his first audition, but then again saying that, thinking back to the fan club meet last year and watching Matt performing it from a 1984 tv appearance just nothing can compare. I have to say that it is firm favourite of mine and hope it may find it's way on to dvd someday.

Of course John, that version by Matt would be hard to beat-I was not criticising the song-I just thought it was the wrong choice for Dean to sing, to impress everyone.

Kate and Gin deserved the vote, and now kate has to take good care of Gin because without him she's nothing.  but i'm sure she will.
Dean's just an alright singer, and his rendition of "Somewhere" was nothing special. He did seem nervous too.
Matt's performance with that song from the TV appearance was breathtaking. You could have heard a pin drop in that room and it was one of the highlights of the fan club meet for me :)
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have it on DVD.

Yes, I agree with you about Dean's voice---it just was not very distinctive enough singing "Somewhere".

I am glad the guy playing the keyboard did not get through--it was just boring--and it seems as though "Star Wars" is the only thing he can--or wants to play. Unfortunately for him, he had delusions of grandeur that were never going to happen. I was surprised that he even made the semi final.

I am looking forward to the rest of the auditions this week--quite a lot of variety acts, but in the end I think it will be a singer to win again--one of 3---the young girl Farrell , the young boy who sang Swing [George I think] and the young boy who sang classical, who had been bullied at school [forget his name].

Yes, Michael, the keyboard player, you sort of half wonder if he is winding the panel up don't you. :) .
Tracey wants to realize his dreams, there's no answer to that is there.

I was surprised that the panel were very enthusiastic about Tracey---I thought that he/she was very ordinary--just a man singing "Big Spender" in a Ladies dress.....

No--not bad--but I do not think I would want to listen to him again.

I've recorded it John so I don't want to know quite yet, we watched The Apprentice instead last night. I'll not give the result away of that as yet either just in case others did it the other way round.

I did the same as you Marian, so I shall also catch up with Britains got talent some time today. I managed to see the first 3/4 acts last night.
