Hi Lena and Harry, Marian, Robert etc.
Hope you don't mind me popping in occasionally with all you high flying posters, but I like to get involved when I get the time.

Pleased I got it right. I used to collect lots of Bobby Darin albums and enjoyed the film "Beyond the Sea". He was another who died too early and much too young.

As Marian has said I can kindly have a go now I'll try - hopefully this won't give you too many problems - "Will colour all my dreams and light the dawn".

Hello Robert - I can't get it from the Maine lobster tlyric only. I tried to cheat by searching for your five favourite songs in the other message, but I couldn't find it. And all I could remember was Walk Away, Before You Go, Maria, and Softly As I Leave You. So the lobster lyric must come from that fifth song that I can't recall now.

Another lyric please.

Hi Marian[2] -- This Is The Life doesn't mention Maine. Besides Robert seems to prefer ballads, so This Is The Life wouldn't be one of his favourite songs.

Hello all. I have a lot of information to give out by the sound it it.
1. Paul the song you couldn't remember is "Portrait Of My Love", but the lyric's from the unknown song isn't one of my top five. It is one of my favourite Matt song's, which I believe I gave when I posted my next top five favourite song's.

2. Mariana 44, no "This Is The Life" is not the song.

3. Paul you are right, I prefer Matt singing those soaring ballad's, which he does magnificently, but I do really like "This Is The Life", a superb song.

4. I will give another lyric from the song "We'll ride the gravy train, sometimes". Hope that help's you all.

The answer is "Rain Sometimes", a song I've only heard a couple times. The word "sometimes" in the clue helped and I vaguely remembered it in your list of five other favourite songs.

Here's my lyric, which I played driving into work today. I think it's tough, but someone will likely get it immediately.

"And hope that my dreams will come true"

Hello Mariana44, Paul and all. Paul, the word "sometimes" was a big help,wasn't it. I could have left it out, but it would have made it much harder to guess. I have no idea what your song is, yet.
