Watched Die Hard 4.0 at the weekend, I quite enjoyed it. :)
Far fetched yes, but what amazing set pieces.

What is that about Terence?
Can't remember it getting a cinema release over here...?

I taped Papillon at the weekend, will watch it at some point, I think that is a cracking film.
Has anyone read the book?

Richard Gere stars in The Flock as Errol Babbage, a government employee in charge of tracking registered sex offenders who has become convinced he can tell when they're about to offend again. When a young girl is kidnapped, he loses his bearings and sinks into a violent obsession, dragging his new partner (Claire Danes) into a dogged investigation that includes abusive interrogations, flagrant violations of civil rights, and a whole lot of sexual tension between the two of them.

Hi Terence

Many thanks for this.
Can I ask a question please?
Can you explain the film certificates used in your country please?
Are films ever banned or cut?

Thank you!

Hi Gray

Malaysia is an Islamic country so movies are cut and banned all the time. What some shops do is to import them secretly. The ratings system is a farce here.

Hi Terence

Could you give me a brief run down of the ratings please?
Are they similar to the ones used in the UK & US?

Robert, how many times before have you viewed The Gold Diggers of 1935?

Hi Gray

There's "U" which means for general viewing.

Then there's "18".

That's it!

Hi Terence

Thanks for replying, I never knew that!
To be honest I think we have far too many certificates in the UK, it gets very confusing, the worst certificate is the 12 rating - which can contain an awful lot of adult material I think!

Can you give me a few examples of U & 18 rated films please?
For example, Jurassic Park?
Or are films heavily edited to qualify for a U rating?

Can I ask how your censor view violence, bad language etc?

Hi Robert

What is the quality of the dvd transfers on those movies?

Hi Robert

I have never heard of that movie, where does your love of 1930's movies come from?
