Yes, Matt sings "One Day" Beautifully John.
Eric gets inundated with requests for Matt. He could probably fill his Two hours just with Matt's songs. :D :D
Lena Martell was Eric's guest on yesterday's show. :D

I used to like Lena Martell, Lena and Harry, I think "One Day At A Time" was one of her best.

It is her most popular song, john  :)
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

I think you can have as many favourites as you want John-I have got hundreds--some are more favourite than others though !

Also it is possible to have lots of "unfavourites" and "One day at a time" is definately an unfavourite of mine--in fact , I cannot stand it.

I am surprised that Lena Martel is still singing though.

How about listing our favourite songs to take with us to a desert island, maybe half a dozen. I would have to think long and hard about this one. :?
Definitely Matt and Jack would be amongst them though. :D :D

That's a good idea Marian. I will sleep on it though, and to make it more interesting all six have to be all by different artists. 8)

I see Paul's started this on a separate thread John and increased the number of songs to twelve, so more to think about. Should help us all sleep well, or not!

Actually I misread your posting Marian. Plus I knew I couldn't take just a half dozen songs to a desert island.

That's fine Paul. I was actually unsure as to how many songs to include and twelve should give us a good selection. I guess we're going to be alone and not all on the island together!

I am listening to Issy Bonn at the moment, a new one for me, singing a lovely song called "The Bells of Home". Thanks Lena and Harry. :D

Well as I am a newbie to all this I am listening to my very first Matt CD- The Very Best of Matt Munro. Loads of lovely tracks on it - am just playing it for the second time. Love My Kind of Girl. On Days Like These, The Impossible Dream - hard to pick a favourite. Have been looking at the discography - I never knew there was such a wealth of material available - I am spoilt for choice for my next addition!!

Pleased to hear you are enjoying The Very Best Of Debbie. As Mariana said, it's a very good place to start. :D
When you've come to terms with all the recordings on Matt's discography, there's the Definitive Track List , just scroll down from the News section.
This tells you every recording Matt ever made, and the recordings they appear on. :D

As our Michele says--it is an anagram of MORON!

PS--that is Matt's daughter Michele, who is responsible for this great forum of ours.
