A Song Question

Post by karl » Thu Jul 19, 2012 6:36 pm

I may live to regret this question, but listening to Edward Woodward recently, one track is an old song "The Whiffenpoof Song" - er, what is a Whiffenpoof?

Answers in sealed envelopes puleeze!!!!!

This has now been answered, I knew it would be something legit - I was just having fun - the title is still rather dodgy though!!! I don't think I could ever sing that song and keep a straight face.

I do not think that line is actually sung in the song--isn't it the one that starts "All the chapel bells were ringing"--and ends with "poor Jimmy Brown"

Ok then--is it the one that starts "We're 3 little lambs who have gone astray--baa, baa. baa"
