Perhaps we should do Simon & Garfunkel next-I can guarantee it will go quicker--but on saying that, I think we have had them before--so maybe we could do them separately, which I do not think has been done.

I make it a strict rule with myself, that if I suggest another "13", I always make sure that I can actually name 13, before I put it on.

We have never done Simon and Garfunkel. I suggested them as good to do rather than the Eagles for a second time. (Another opportunity for me to say how much I dislike that group!)

We can get to 13 for the Manics; they've had many hits, but Jon needs to post more frequently.

Hmm, I seem to have thrown the spanner in the works with the Manics, haven't I, but we're nearly there, except I'm a bit mystified by Marian's No 3 suggestion, "Break My heart Slowly" - is that a Manics track? Never heard of it. Or was that meant to be someone else's song?

Anyway, we're up to NO. 10 for the Manics (by the way, I like Paul's choice of "Empty Souls"), so here's mine:

Hi Jon, Break My Heart Slowly might not be considered as a Manic song, as in 2005 James Dean Bradfield and Nicky Wire decided to write some solo songs, before a new album from the band. They only released one single, Break My Heart... which charted at No.74.
Anyway it isn't meant to be anybody else's song.
