Most of you know from my newsletter update that I am leaving on Friday on P&Os Adonia. Slight change of plan in that instead of getting on Fred Olsen on Tuesday 28 August, they have asked me if I'd step up earlier and fit in a mini cruise before the bigger one. So I am now doing a back-to-back leaving on Saturday 25 August.

The Adonia gets back on Friday 24th so it isn't worth driving back so will stay in Southampton overnight and get on Marco Polo the next day - exiting stuff. I have seven cruises booked already for next year and hoping to get up to 12 so here's hoping I might see some familiar faces on board one of them.

We have only just got back from a Cruise so we are a little late in wishing you well on your forthcoming travels Michele.

One of the entertainers on the ship was a guy called Mark O'Malley who was billed as a singer from the West End Shows in London so you can imagine our surprise when he said "I am now going to do a short medley of songs recorded by one of my favourite singers Mr Matt Monro and it was very well received by the audience especially us two!
