I passed this on to my sister , who has always been a David Cassidy fan---a cd of "Where the heart is" was on sale in Amazon at £256.98.I guess it was the originsl cd.

After further investigation she found the double set for £7.00---guess which one she ordered !!!

Mariana, this comes out on Sept 18 along with "Dreams Are Nothing More Than Wishes/The Higher They Climb, The Harder They Fall". "Cassidy Live" is out also. "Romance" is out in Oct. Our own Don Cooper alterted me on this and so did Graham at the record store.

You're welcome Mariana. If Jill likes his brother Shaun Cassidy, then you can also tell her that his entire catalogue is out for sale on Amazon and it's cheap also. I have them all and they sound great regardless of the reviews. It's just good to have them finally on cd.

Thanks Eman--but I do not know if Jill likes Shaun Cassidy-she has certainly never mentioned him. She goes back to the "Partridge Family" days

Hi Mariana, I ordered the both of the two fer's (Dreams/ Higher They Climb and Home is Where The Heart Is/Getting it in the Streets) at my local record store with no problem and also got "Cassidy Live" and "Romance" on their said release dates. I wonder what's with Amazon changing the dates. Tell Jill they sound really good also. They are also going to be releasing The Partridge Family albums as 2fers starting with "The Partridge Family Album/Up To Date" in late Nov.

I guess the problem is that they are being imported from US--although Amazon are usually good--but on saying that I waited ages for my 2 Johnny Mathis cds to arrive.

Mariana the 2fers are from the UK a company called 7T's. Romance and Cassidy Live is from the US company Real Gone Music. Hope she gets them soon!!

Jill finally received her David Cassidy cd this week--but no chance to listen to it yet.

Coming home from Cheshire on the train on Sunday two ladies told me they had been down to see David Cassidy in Manchester - they said several acts were on first and they all got 20-30 minutes so before the show ended people were leaving to catch transport home.

They said David did not do any encore, seems strange having so many acts on before a big name like David Cassidy!

His son Beau Cassidy was born at the same time and in the same hospital as Jack Jones's daughter Nicole.
They are still friends, and are 21 this year.
