I agree Marian, what an amazing quickstep from Michael Vaughan, and in perfect time to the music too.
Poor Sid Owen was voted off after a tough week, but there are One or Two others who look very likely to join him soon unless they make some dramatic improvement. Unfortunately Fern Brittain was mediocre this week. As usual Colin Salmon was choreographed to just strut around while Kristina shows off her skills, but I'm pleased to see that Richard was saved :)

Richard was saved in the dance off, after making up for his poor performance on Saturday night, but Colin and Kristina were badly matched due to the difference in their height and it was difficult for them to dance as a couple Hoping Michael will dance as well in the jives and sambas and tangoes.
I think Kimberley will get to the final. :)

I predicted before the show started that I thought Kimberley would win--I see no reason to change my mind--although Denise could come close.

Well it was Fern Britton's time to go tonight, but for Kimberley Walsh to be in the dance off was a surprise. We thought maybe it would be Richard's turn to go. He was shocked when he knew he had survived, but he has such a wonderful sense of humour. :)
Fern apparently was livid with Artem and gave him a rollocking before their performance on Saturday night when he said to someone that she would be better if she lost some more weight. However they hid their grievences up well before their dance. :D

I agree---Fern did not have a chance against Kimberly---and although Fern has lost a lot of weight, she still looks bigger compared to the likes of Kimberley and Denise. I really did not think Fern would last much longer-sorry to see Artem go, he is a great dancer--but even he cannot work miracles.

Yes, it was a matter of time for Fern, and all that shimmering up to the judges was cringing.
I just want to see them get on with it and dance. :)

I thought Fern was having trouble with her costume this week, the modesty undergarments, but it wasn't her best performance either. Probably time for her to go.

We were sorry to see Richard go on Sunday, but it was the right decision.
We couldn't believe it when Lisa Riley finished her dance with the splits.
Craig said he thought he was going to have a coronary.
Louis wasn't quite so impressive this time, but Denise and Dani were very good and in spite of Craigs comments we thought Victoria had really improved.
It has now got to the stage where the competition is really hotting up, but Kimberley is still our favourite. :)

I really did not like Victoria's dance this week--I thought she was on her way out !

Yes, I agree, Kimberley looks like a winner---but Denise is in it to win it too.

Well, I guess you have seen the results show last night-I thought the result was a complete anticlimax---it should have been Denise or Kimberley to win--Louis was just not in the same league as they were--on several occasions he was lucky to last another week, and for many dances he was really weak--he had a few good dances towards the end---but Denice and Kimberly were consistenly great.

I agree, I voted for Denise and James. They were both great and James is just amazing.

Yes I agree with you both. I know Louis did improve especially in the ballroom dances but I would have thought that as this is supposed to be a dancing competition then the best dancers throughout the series were Denise, Kimberley and Danni. Any of those three would have been a worthy winner.

Ah well there is always next year!

The 'Great' British public strikes again!

'Let's vote for someone because he took his shirt off'!

He was out danced completely by Denise & Kimberley and too be honest whilst Kimberley would have been a worthy winner, Denise & James did things that professionals would have found difficult and were in a class of there own.

I think the press did them no favours, going on about 'She's a trained dancer' - No she stopped training at 13! and that certainly didn't include ballroom & latin!

Kimberley Dances and learns choreography on stage & in pop videos all the time so had just as much advantage. What did Louis do? A lot of gymnastic moves - which is what he does for a living anyway - and added a few dance moves in! This is not what the competition is about.

I wonder who would have won if it was down to the judges to decide! (I know Darcy would have voted for Louis admittedly, as she lusted over him all the series!)

I also agree that the papers and pubicity did not help the girls--maybe they had some dance experience---but not in Ballroom or Latin---if they were thought to have an unfair advantage, then they would not have been asked to do the show.
