Remembering Matt

Post by Marian » Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:03 am

Just a few lines from one of Matt's lovely songs that somehow seem appropriate on this, his 24th anniversary.

So little time to love you
So little time to know you
One miracle I pray
To just hold back each passing day

So little time to hold you
So little time to tell you
If I could only find
Some way to cross the sands of time

That certainly is an appropriate song Marian. Remembering today and thinking of Matt's family in particular Mickie, Michele, Matt Jnr and Max.
A man and his music who brought joy to millions. Thank you Matt.

Those lyrics were lovely Marian, and will relate to anyone who has lost a loved one.

My thoughts are with the Monro family today, and also remembering Matt.

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts on what for us is still a very painful day. Death is never easy but it is the people around you who help you get through the days as painlessly as possible.

The fact that you all remember dad as well is what is so important to us
Warmest wishes
Michele
