John, that was a great review from you--I just cannot wait to receive my copy--it sounds fabulous---all those old appearances that could have been lost forever, but bought back for us to see whenever we want to.

A big thank you to Richard and Michele who have both worked so hard on this project.

Thanks for the review John. I printed it out so I can digest it over the weekend. In addition to the entertainment value, it seems to be historical as well. I'm sure it won't play in the US, as none of the UK DVDs (apart from the copies you nice folks make) work. :) A copy would be nice, but I think it's important to have the original as well to see the graphics, packaging, etc.

The Manila CD included here is several tracks shorter than the night owl release.

Hi John
My thanks also for your review of The Ultimate Performer.
I vividly remember Matt on Tarby and Friends; Tarby
complimented Matt, saying that he was singing better
than ever. However, I had mixed feelings about Matt's
performance: I agreed with Tarby about the quality
of the singing, but I began to worry about Matt's very evident
weight loss. He certainly wasn't looking better that ever.
I look forward keenly to seeing the DVD.
Keith

Night owl sub licenced the material to Odeon missing material so as to make their original issue the only way to buy it complete!

So why bother to put this incomplete CD out with the DVD release then :?: it seems odd to me to do that at all  the original CD release from Night Owl will always be prefered listening by us Matt fan's................as that version is "complete".

Yes it is odd, but I assume that Night Owl are hoping that If people like the disc so much then they will buy the complete version.

Our is not to reason why i'm afraid, it was done without my involvement.
