You are so right, Lena & Harry. Aunt Jenny is survived
by two sons, Eddie and Robert, both businessmen who
lavish hospitality on us each time we visit West Cork,
thereby keeping her spirit very much alive.

That's nice for you Keith, having the welcome on the mat and showing the importance of family ties.

I bet Aunt Jenny never dreamed she would be immortalised on The Matt Monro Forum.

I see Jade has gone into a hospice for the weekend after suffering hallucinations caused by her medication.
The paper this morning is saying she has gone in for "two days of gruelling treatment." I'm sure this will not be the case.

I thought it was to reduce her medication, to help stop the hallucinations  but of course the newspaper's have to sensationalise everything

Or to change her medication, and she has been upset by a neighbour apparently, all over a gate that they share. :(

I should think she's gone in to get her medication balanced as well as possible, to regulate the dosage so that she gets the pain control without the hallucinations.

Jade is certainly going through it...............she only married 7 day's ago, but just a week later she is in hospital having an operation to help stem the constant pain she is in. The dreaded disease must be spreading at a rate of knots............poor girl :( :(

I have just read that Jade died in her sleep early this morning.

A tregic coincidence, being Mother's day-as whatever else may be said about her, no-one could doubt her devotion to her 2 young boys.

She is now at peace and out of pain.

Yes, even though expected it is still very sad news of Jade, but at least she is now free from suffering and pain.

R.I.P. Jade.
She appears to have left a positive legacy behind too with the increased number of women coming forward now for testing for cervical cancer.

A great shame. At least she will have no more suffering and pain.

I must say that I was appalled by Michael Parkinson's
gratuituously mean-spirited comments about the late
Jade Goody. If anything she deserves credit for shaking
off the shackles of her disadvantaged unbringing.
I'm reminded of Shakespeare's take on such matters:
'The evil that men do lives after them,
the good is oft interred with their bones.'

Michael Parkinson has had some stick on here lately...................and quite rightly so  the bishop who married Jade just a few weeks ago, has admonished Parky for putting the "boot in to a young woman so recently buried"
