I am back here after a few problems with being able to reply--like not seeing the "reply " button. I had changed a csetting on my computer, and all my displays changed. But all Ok now.

Firstly--who is Joe Williams ??

BTW Johnny Mathis sings this [When a child is born] as a duet on her Christmas album--that ius 2 duets she has done with JM this Christmas--who would have thought it ?

Joe Williams is a famous American Jazz and Blues vocalist Marian. He is a friend of Jack Jones and Jack tells this story about him. When married to his previous wife, they had tried for 9 years to have a child, and one evening they went to a club where Joe Williams was appearing. He saw Jack and Kim in the audience and he dedicated the next song to them, "When A Child Is Born". Shortly afterwards they found out that they were expecting a baby. So he always thanks Joe Williams for his daughter Nicole.

Silly me--I really have had a busy day-that's my excuse. Susan has sung a duet with JM on her cd, and a different song with JM on he new JM cd. Hope I have got it right this time--probably not, as I am almost asleep........
