BBC Radio 4's Cabin Pressure, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch and
Roger Allam is a somewhat superior handling of the premise.
Matt : Smooth, but not Glossy...

I saw 'Saving Mr Banks' yesterday, the Emma Thompson/Tom Hanks/ Mary Poppins story.
Absolutely wonderful, probably the best film I have seen this year.
Cried my eyes out. :D

We watched The Wrong Road the other night, very good film until the end, when it just finished and said "to be continued", very disappointing as it was made a couple of years ago and so far a follow up has not been filmed. A waste of time watching it really because you don't know what happened in the end.

if anybody is looking for a thought provoking amazingly powerful film then i recommend Dead Man Walking
with Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon it is a film i could not stop thinking about a few days after...so moving and such integrity...they had their finest moment in this film in my humble opinion ...its heavy going but amazing .....

Went to see the new Robert Redford film 'All Is Lost' last night.
Very simple story, but Redford is terrific.
I recommend it.

Gray I hadn't heard of this film but I like Robert Redford, did you see him in The Last Castle with James Gandolfini? He also made a good film with Helen Mirren whch I also have but the title escapes me, will get back to you on that.

P.S. t's called The Clearing and also stars Willem Dafoe.
