Isn't it typical, The Follies have dwindling audiences - announce they are packing it in and tickets sales shoot up. I was very impressed with the show but they have had a good run I suppose.

Robert, I was thinking of Male Singers only, but I read somewhere that Sinatra gave credit to
Bing Crosby as the inspiration for all popular singers (crooners) of the 40s-60s.
Besides Sinatra & Perry Como, Matt also gave Crosby the credit for his style of vocalizing.

Besides Ella, Sinatra also admired Lena Horne & Peggy Lee
