Ralph Waite R.I.P.

I have just read the sad news that Ralph Waite, who played John Walton in "The Waltons" has died aged 85. I always used to watch The Waltons, they were part of my childhood. Good actor who appeared in many other TV series and films.

OhH we watched that show as a family years ago, I've seen Ralph in a few things since then and he was always a solid actor.

I heard that too-so sad---how many times I have I watched that series through from beginning to end !! [The Waltons, that is. ]

RIP Ralph Waite. As a child theough my teens The Waltons was a show my family always watched. Even my Dad liked it and he usually doesn't like drama shows.
