Thank you for all the info on the programme Richard, it sounds fantastic, and all of us forum members know what a difference and a contribution you've made in promoting Matt's music. It would never have been possible without all the expertise work and restoration that you have worked on and achieved where Matt's music is concerned in so many ways.
Wish we could be of help Henry but unfortunately we shall be out on Monday evening, but hopefully we can catch up on the Listen Again feature.
Also, we are experiencing blackouts in our block., Last Sunday was the first, and all day yesterday and all night last night, so no heat, no light, no lifts, no phones and food in the freezer ruined. Sitting in the dark with fork andles. :D
The power has just been retuned but not sure for how long. Makes us realise just a little of what those poor people in the flooded areas are going through.

I am sorry you have been without power Lena and Harry, I feel so sorry for all these affected by the bad weather at the moment, there just seems no end to it. There is another lot on its way again later today apparently.

Your kind words are much appreciated guys.

I have the whole of my interview - I recorded it in the studio whilst being interviewed over the phone by Graham (the recording was then sent to him for use in the broadcast) so will see if I can stand to listen to any of it and post some bits of it online.

Hope the interview is to your satisfaction Richard, and we will be able to hear it.

Thanks John. We can see how bad it's been in Blackpool too.

Yes, I saw a lot on the news about Blackpool. Looked horrendous. Still raining here---Matfield pond is overflowing, and a lot of the roads around flooded.

My sister was trying to get home from Putney to Hanger Lane--not that far -on Wednesday night-took her nearly 5 hours !!!

Yes Richard don't be so modest you are a big part in all things Matt Monro we wouldn't have got all that we have if you hadn't joined Michele and brought us what you have.

A big THANKYOU to you

Henry, it is a radio programme. Will you be able to listen to it during the week on the radio2 "listen again" feature ? :)

Thanks Sandra and Christine. As far as we can see, there is a generator being used in the building at the moment, so we are not feeling that confident, and once this weekend is over we will probably know for sure.

Like Robert suggested I too would think that Henry should be able to catch up on the Seven Day "Listen Again."

We hope you and Harry were able to listen Lena. :D
We enjoyed the programme, and even if the story is oh so familiar it is always nice to hear it again, and it would been even better with Richard's contribution I'm sure. Hope it brings new listeners to learn more about the life of Matt Monro.
As well of course, we all wish each time that the ending could have been different.

We too enjoyed the programme and we thought Barbara Windsor did a really good job. It was obvious that she held Matt in high esteem and it was nice to hear Michele and Mickie and all the others who contributed by speaking so highly of him.

Like Marian said it is a very familiar story to Matt's fans but hopefully this programme will bring a few more into the fold. We also would have liked to hear Richard's contribution.

:D :D
