But i know you are right Maxine. I was talking to Laurreen today, and she said that she would not go back somewhere that treated me so badly, and I am also severely inclined not to go back to Hobbies,--which I never thought i woud say as i loved it so much--but if we leave then so will Lynn, our other helper, and they will be left with no helpers at all. I think we will try one more week, next week, and see if things improve--if not it is time to say goodbye !!

At least, then Sue , the leader will know just how serious things are--we have been helping 2 and a half years, invested a lot of effort,. money, time, some of our own stock to help out. I feel that was all for nothing. Those of you who have seen the photos i put on facebook will know what I am talking about.

Sorry I am whinging on so---i am still very very upset.

Anyway, I went to the doctor again--saw someone different again, which did not help-I do not appear to have
a regular doctor just now..but the doctor was very very nice, very sympathetic, but of course I had to go through everything again. Basically my dose was too low, only 10 mg, so next week , i increase it by 10 mg, the following week oanother 10 mg, and again until I am 40 mg --the regular dose. So it is just a case of waiting to see.

Next week, i am going to start going to a local group called U3A [university of the 3rd age]--where they have a meeting once a month with a speaker, but also, the main reason, they have subsidiary groups where people can share their skills--at least 50 groups at the moment--many of them craft orientated, which would suit me--one is on card-making, which I love--but have not felt like it much at the moment--knitting crochet, plus computer work, how to use your tablet, looking up your family tree , egyptology---but i am sticking to craft, as that is what I know and love---not sure oif they have a music group--but if they do, it could be singing-I am better at listening---oh and a book club---but i am afraid i do not like new books, but reread stuff I have already read before---at least I know I am going to like it!!!!!!!

I cannot tell you how much I value the support you have all given me over the last few days---I feel so lucky to be part of this forum, with you all.
You sound like you are picking up a least a little bit Marian ....yes you are upset but you will ride the storm ...good luck at your new group! ....at least you are sharing and not bottling it all up ...
Softly, I will leave you softly
For my heart would break if you should wake and see me go.....

I'm sure you will enjoy your new group Marian. I've heard about this somewhere a while ago. :D
Do you still go to the WI?
I hope you are feeling a little better this morning, everyday that passes you are heading towards a day when all this trouble is behind you.

I am so very sorry to read about these troubles, Marian.
I really hope everything gets sorted soon, I reckon it may simply be a terrible misunderstanding over something.

Thinking of you.
You don't deserve this.

Thanks John--a little better today. i am still going to WI, to reply to Marian, but I am excited about the new group next week.

I spoke to 2 friends today who belong to this group, and they were suggesting that I could start up a couple of groups myself, eg learning crochet, cardmaking. I think that would be really good for me, especially if i decide to leave Hobbies next week.

I love teaching, I always have, that is why I loved my Hobbies group so much.

Feeling slightly better today. The vicar from the church came to see me today, so we had a good chat, and he has suggested a couple of things that could help me. We shall just see how things go.

Just had 2 vicious emails accusing ME of putting nasty comments on Facebook, including her name. Needless to say it is all lies, everything she has said, and much more ! I am definatley leaving Hobbies group next week --after 2 and a half years, week after week, --I will go and say goodbye to Gemma who I have spent many hours teaching her to knit and crochet, Sue also, taught her how to knit with her right hand, as she is left handed-not easy. and Graham who I teach to make cards ---cannot read or write at 59 years old, but he loves doing the cards, Tommy, my downs syndrome Scrabble partner who invariably beats me,and always has a hug for me, Kathryn, who cannot say a word, but always comes and sits next to me, and follows me around. And Joshus of course, who is autistic, and disabled.

I am afraid they will be the losers as Laurreen has said she will not go back either, and I do not think Lynn will either as she is a good friend of mine too. I feel really sad about this, as it is not their fault, not even Joshua's , it is his mum.

Marian if I were you I would come off of Facebook until this nasty excuse for a person gets on with her sad pathtic little life - reading those messages will just keep upsetting you and we all want you to get over this as soon as possible.

I have never been a lover of facebook, I find it far too public and rarely post on it.

Marian, I wondered if you had had a word with, Sue is it, who is in charge of the hobbies group, surely she will know what is going on? It is such a shame all these people will miss you so much.
Also, you could remove June from your friends list on facebook, no need to stop using it. I saw Gemma had a post of her work on yesterday. :D

I emailed Sue the other night, and I am going to have a chat with her next week. And yes, I know I can remove June from my friend list, which I am aiming to do very soon. But it is not good receiving abusive texts. I might show them to Sue, but I do not wznt to upset Josh, as I know he is very close to his mum. I do not want him to miss out.

Yes Gemma had a pic of her crochet on Fb, she has been trying so hard, and slowly getting there. But hopefully I may be able to see Gemma privately, as she lives near me. The biggest problem is that she has a phobia of dogs, she is just terrified.
