Lynda Bellingham R.I.P.

Post by john » Mon Oct 20, 2014 8:57 am

Very sad to read this morning that Lynda Bellingham has passed away. She fought her illness so bravely and so wanted to spend one final Christmas with her family. She will be greatly missed.

I woke up to this sad news this morning. I so hoped she would have her last wish to spend one more Christmas with her family-a couple of months did not seem much to ask. I read that she had already recorded her last "Loose Women" to be shown on Wednesday

So not sure if that will go ahead.

It is all so sad, and then quite sudden. Although Lynda's wish was to spend her last Christmas with her family, she stopped her chemo treatment to lesson her family's time of suffering. :(

Very sad news. She was, if anything, an underrated actress (perhaps those Oxo adverts lingered for too long). Her positivity in the face of adversity was admirable and it takes a very special kind of courage to turn down continued treatment knowing what the consequences will be. RIP, Linda.

Just caught up with the Loose Women with Lynda, that was filmed 2 weeks before she died. She was so brave, and it was just heartbreaking to see her, and hear her talking .

Yes it was sad to hear about Lynda and such a shame she couldn't have that last Christmas with her family,
such a brave and lovely lady.

We had booked to see her in A Passionate Woman and then she had found out she had cancer so had to cancel.
