Hope Uncle Wright enjoyed his 92nd Birthday John. He sounds quite settled now where he is which is good.
Talking of Elderly Folk in their Nineties. We visited my 93 year old (second ) cousin last Friday in Weston Super Mare to take him his Christmas package and like many elderly people and after a recent operation and Two falls he has a cord located in each room that connects to a call centre in case of emergencies. A few minutes after our arrival, the call centre buzzed to ask him if he was alright. He went outside in the hallway to answer and assured the lady that he was. Within a few minutes another call came through so this time I answered and explained who we both were and why we were there( thinking that maybe a neighbour or someone had seen us at his flat door and was concerned.
It wasn't long before the buzzer went again and when my cousin got up again to answer, there on the chair that he was sitting on was the wrist band with a button to press that he normally or should have on his wrist.
but after telling the lady what had happened she said they still have to answer the call, which at least is re-assuring.
