HI Lori--Jamie was only on last night, so I am sure that he will be on Youtube shortly, and maybe someone [Robert ?] will put a link on.

I am pretty sure that Simon has a private jet for commuting to USA--very much like Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli when they were doing the UK, and Us versions of "Strictly Come Dancing".

Do you ever watch "America's got talent"--very similar--with Piers Morgan as one of the judges, plus David Hasselhoff-I forget the lady judge-one year it was "Brandy" she is a singer. I think it was Jerry Springer presentign it--but I prefer the English version, as I think the judges are better especially Amanda---and of course we have Ant and Dec--who are very funny at times. But I always watch America's got talent, even so.

The lady judge is Sharon Osbourne. I occasionally watch AGT. I just can't bear Springer or The Hoff.

Are those Britain's Got Talent live shows or were they taped awhile ago. Then Simon would't have to travel so much.

Lori - there are many British TV shows that I wish we had. For example, does anyone know whether ALW plans to do another "musical audition" show? At least we can access BBC radio, which I really love.

Firstly---yes I have read that ALW is planning a search for someone to play Dorothy, in "The Wizard of Oz"---fancy anyone trying to follow Judy Garland !!

Yes of course, Sharon went on after Brandy left, and as I recollect she nearly walked out of the first show.

This new series of BGT was taped a while ago--maybe 2 months ago-I only remember because of all the controversy with Kelly Brook--doing 1 show , then getting a 100K payoff !!

And yes Lori, Ant and Dec are the 2 at the side of the stage. They have been in quite a few reality shows--biggest I guess is "I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here " But they have also been on tv in lots of other programmes over a good number of years-they are very well known in Uk.

Did you get to see Jamie Pugh singing "Bring Him Home" yet ??

Mariana I use to do childrens theatre about ( a 100 yrs ago) and played Dorothy... my claim to show biz... Paul, I lived in Baltimore many years ago .. My husband worked in the big social security office... Take care all of you good people ...

I think it was made clear at his audition that he was a Professional singer-although it did not say where.

In the medley of Rod Stewarts songs, he had sang solo. "What A Wonderful World" but at the end of the day, he really was nervous and I don't think any of the entrants reveal quite everything about themselves, even Susan Boyle didn't. :)

Well, we can't believe some of the entries that got through in preference to the boy drummer tonight, particularly as some of the acts were dreadful. In fact one or Two of them I just couldn't bear to watch, the couple doing those bizarre tricks was really awful. :x :x
At least the ones that we expected got through . :)

I do not remember seeing Jamie singing a medley of Rod Stewarts songs,
maybe I missed a show. He really is excessively nervous, and that is not going to help him, although he had admitted to singing professionally in the past.

I was amazed that the Boy drummer did not get through--I am not keen on drumming, but he was very special--maybe he will be like George Sampson and come back next year.

Some of the acts were utterly crazy, and I know Amanda said that they wanted variety, but I do not remember any other drummers in the line up !! The guy on the last show with those things on hos erars was just horrible--plus a few others I spotted that I certainly did not expect to see again.

I noticed that at the end, when the judges were talking about who could win, not a mention was made of Susan Boyle !!

Looking forward to tonight--Susan should sail through--not sure who else, because there are several other talented acts tonight.

I was really surprised as well at the boy drummer not getting through, I thought he was really good.
