Don went back to one of Matts earliest recordings tonight by playing Once In a While :) ...... Don said Matt sounded as if he still had his name label stitched in his jumper :wink:

We LOVE the early stuff and often play the MATT AT THE BBC recordings :D

Nice to hear another version of I'LL ONLY MISS HER WHEN I THINK OF HER - Bobby Darin too.Nothing can beat Matts version though.Not even Mr Sinatras :)

Hard to believe it's 50 years since Born Free :roll: ...........they used to put it on TV a lot in the 60's and 70's :) ..................Don played Frank again, this time a duet with Sammy David Jnr :wink:

Guess what .........yes Don played Frank again (twice tonight) ..........every week so far.................he played "marvellous" Matt singing the Beatles song All My Loving .................and mentioned the story of Matt being one of the first singers to covers Beatles songs .............AGAIN!!!!
