Did anyone hear Len Goodman on the One Show advertising his new CD (Of course) Len Goodman's Best Of British saying 'who needs American singers when you have the best here like Matt Monro' :D :D On Day's Like These the track on his album

We saw him too Sandra. Sounds as though there is a good choice on the CDs with home grown talent and On Days Like These is a particular favourite of ours.

On a Flog It repeat last night from Morecambe ,the 1963 Showtime programme from the North Pier Blackpool signed by Morecambe And Wise and Matt

It was on because of the connection with Morecambe I think.

It fetched £22 :(

Did any one hear Corrie last week where Audrey said to Claudia and Ken '' Very cosy a bit of Matt Monro and a sheepskin rug and you would be well

Matt was on the TV Sky Arts last week on a programme about Tony Hancock he was at one of Tony's barbecues in Australia …. lovely to see him on TV again.
