You're obviously not familiar with the talent of JJ then?

Is that the album version? It sounded different.

Also like PJ Proby's OTT version. :)

I don't know if it is the album version or not  ..............PJ Proby was on a radio station a few years ago explaining that even though such great singers as Matt Monro and Barbra Streisand have recorded "Somewhere" .........he was the only artist to have a hit with the song ............he does sing it a bit over the top especially when he sings the line "there's a place for UZ"

I know and Somewhere is Some-A-Where. Have seen him live twice in more recent years and he's still good. His cd Legend is great.

Well that's your opinion, personally I think he's one of the greatest American singers I've ever heard and he is amazing live - even at 80 as I saw him in February.

We place Jack Jones alongside the best and the greatest of all those singers who have made top class albums and songs that they have made their own, but apart from the poor sound that doesn't do this recording any justice this is not one of Jacks best, and Matt's recording of "Somewhere" is among our favourites and unbeatable :)

' Every song writer needs a lucky break. My one came when MM found a melody he loved and asked me to write a lyric for it.It turned out to be a life changer for us both' and at the end 'the matchless' :)
