You've obviously never heard of the Nolan Sister's then, Jeff. :)

I used to love the Nolan's, Gray.  In fact, one of the very first LP's I got was a Nolan's record, I think I was about 8 or 9 at the time, in the late seventies. I believe they are making a comeback as well.

I confess I have several Nolan's cds and Lps--"I'm in the mood for dancing" is just such a classic, but I have an album of them singing standards--such as "In the wee small hours of the morning " "Someone to watch over me" etc.

And yes, I believe they are touring later this year.

But another Irish group--THE CORRS ...RUNAWAY

With just a couple albums, he's recorded so many great songs. But I'll choose this song which I basically live by:

Jamie Cullum - Mind Trick

What made me think that you did not like Jamie Cullum ??

Oh, and sorry, I mixed up your "Carpenters" choice, and made things more confused

It wasn't always my favourite but it gets better with each listen. Perfection.

Carpenters - Superstar

(Marian: I thought I had written a review here of a Jamie Cullum concert and how he performed for over 2 hours. I don't like everything he's done, but there are many that I love.)
