My set top box sound actually worked for tonight's Don Black programme after a few weeks without any sound......goodness know's how or why...…...Don played "matchless" Matt singing Softly As I Leave You :)

On his final show in this series Don played "matchless" Matt singing Let's Face the Music and Dance :) ……..Don has played the song many times in the past though :wink:

Don is back on air later tonight :) ……...hope he plays a few more rarer Matt songs this series :wink:

On a duets programme Don played a duet between Matt and Matt Jnr If I Never Sing Another Song :)

In a special Johhny Mercer lyrics programme Don played his favourite singer "matchless Matt" singing the outstanding ballad Laura :) ………….later in the show he played a song by Peggy Lee and said the song had been covered by just about everyone "When the World Was Young"...……..but I'd never heard it before !!

Laura is one of our favourites especially sung by Matt. Like you Robert we hadn't heard the song sung by Peggy Lee before. There were also a few others we hadn't heard too. ☺
