We had a really lovely day thank you Marian,
It was a lovely sunny day and spent mainly out in the garden with the gazebo for shelter and non stop food and drink , and my nieces husband James was chef for the day for Twelve of us.
Sadie is just gorgeous copying and learning practically everything from her Sister Rachel and catching up fast.

Just happened to spot that it is 4 years today, that John became the first member of this forum, just 2 weeks after it opened.

Well done John for hanging in there still, and for being such a loyal , helpful , informative and most importantly a good friend to us all here on the Forum--and especially to me!

Silly me-I just spotted that I put it in the wrong month--so i am going to put it in the correct month.

Today is a special day for the wrong reasons--firstly, my sister's best friend Diane, lost her son to cancer aged only 26---and my friend Doreen, whose face was the first I saw when I joined the WI, passed away this morning in the local Hospice after a very short battle with cancer. Doreen was 85, and Christopher was only 26, but their passing has bought heartache to both their families and friends.
