That was strange Marian(a) I was doing a favourite film tune at the same time you were writing your message and I got 'wiped out'.That happened once before when Lena and Harry were putting something on.
Anway:

JULIE----------- DORIS DAY. Lovely song-rotten film.

EXODUS with Paul Newman, I remember I fell asleep in the cinema towards the end of this film and still haven't caught up with it yet but the theme music is memorable. :) :)

From the film "Same Time next Year"-staring Ellen Burstyn and Alan Alda-a lovely duet from Johnny Mathis and Jane Olivor called "LAST TIME I FELT LIKE THIS".

This is one of the very few JM songs that George liked listening to !!

Hi Lena

You're not the only one to find this film a chore.
It was directed by Otto Preminger and at it's press release after the movie entered it's third hour a critic stood up and said, "Otto, let my people go" :)

It was comedian Mort Sahl who said that Gray, and few were spared from his wit and humour, but I think he was being serious in this case.

We have not had "Jean" yet, because that was still on my list.

This is another really nice one--

BARBRA STREISAND AND BRYAN ADAMS---"I FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE"--from "THE MIRROR HAS 2 FACES"--I think that was the film it came from.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but I love the Theme from Picnic/Moonglow medley by Morris Stoloff and His Orchestra from the film Picnic. I put that medley on and go to a very nice place. :D 8)
