Good to hear Frankie Vaughan open the Russell Davies show tonight Frankie is seldom heard on the radio 2 airwaves these days.

Yes, nice to hear Frankie Vaughan Robert, but Russell said that the programme now has to be more vocal than just music. Whatever next . . Mind you.. Clare Teal played a very good selection on her programme with some of the best Big Band classics, so maybe this is something they are trying out to please us all.

David opened the show with Cheek to Cheek .............but DJ doesn't play many of Matt's well know or much loved ballads..............has he ever played On Days Like These, Hello Young Lovers, Maria or I Have Dreamed to name just a few. I know it's good to hear Matts more obscure songs on the radio, but DJ seems to play Matts lesser songs
