Thanks for that Marian, Ur rite I forgot it was on the 'Matt Jr sings Monro' CD :oops: Funny, its never a song Ive much liked. Ill look forward to the new cds, I always look for new songs featured on every release. Its always disappointing when theres only 1 or 2 songs that arent already on CD. Thanks again :D

Hello everyone. After recording "More" in the 60's Matt wasn't satisfied by the sound of the recording, so he asked for it not to be released at that time. To us it sounds brilliant, but to Matts expert ears it wasn't quite right for some reason. I don't think Matt ever said that he didn't like the song.

Well whatever reasons for the delay of "More," Matt got it perfect in the end. It's our favourite recording of this song. :lol:

Hi Marian, Yes, it's difficult to switch off Bobby Darin once he's in that player, 8) and we couldn't forget Mr Martino's version.

Now that I've got 'Rare Monro', I would suggest 'Yours and yours alone' for inclusion on the 'Love songs album'. Its a simple love song, and it does what it says on the tin!

Thanks, Ed, for the kind welcome. I see that we are fellow Americans as well as big Matt Monro fans.

It's interesting to read the comments of other members on this forum. I intend to be a frequent visitor on this site.

My choice for the title of the Valentine CD is "From Matt with Love." "Til Then, My Love" and "When I Fall in Love" and "More" are my favorite romantic Matt Monro songs.
