I've played enough sedate music on this cold Fall morning (Frank Sinatra's September of My Years, Ella Fitzgerald's Like Someone in Love). But right now, I'm in need of some Monday cheer, so I'm listening to Jack Jones' Lady.

(If You Go Away is playing right now - imagine how Rod McKuen would feel if this were a legitimate CD, and he could collect royalties from BOTH Barbra and Jack's recordings!)

Hi Guys 'n ' Gals,
navigating my way around this site is a bit like being plonked in the flight deck of the Space shuttle...all those dials 'n' things...anyway
I have found this site, and am pleased to say that my dear Matt's "The Collection", "Live in Australia" , and "Matt at the BBC" are still on "high rotation"
on my home PC while I beaver away doing whatever it is I'm doing.
Matt is singing "Michelle" in my ear at the moment. I wonder if he had someone special in mind when he sang it (?!!) Certainly the warmest version I've heard...
My Best to all Monrovians...got it right this time...
Greg

No-I don't think so-The Steve Lawrence Shows have various guests.
I may pop in a Keely Smith CD.
And/or dig out the Tony Bennett DUETS album that has Diana Krall/Barbra tracks(w.TB).

HOWEVER,as we're travelling with Raphael(22),Scarlett(19)&Kai(9),they may have some thoughts on me playing my music. They'll have ipods, wii,& you can imagine! :D

I agree with you Robert good and bad from David Jacobs. He seems to have abandoned Matt at the moment as has Terry Wogan pre his week off. :(
Will be 'listening again' to Eric Hall and Alan Titchmarsh this morning :)
