Hi all-I have not managed to get one of these for ages---I keep trying but am getting nowhere--I do not know your one Terence-I am pretty sure I have not heard that verse before!

Hi Terence, This one a great number from Silk Stockings. I Love the looks of you the lure of you,
"I Love All Of You"

We'll show Robert our forgiveness with this verse that he may know

My Daydreams lie buried in Autumn Leaves
They're Covered With Autumn Red.
The Time Is Sweet September.
The Place A Shady Lane.
I'm Riding The Wings Of An Autumn Breeze.
Back To My Memories.

No chance L&H, what made you think I might know it??

Terence, why was I naughty?? you obviously don't know the British sense of humour, or I should say, my sense of humour   P.S. I look the same now, as I did then :!: :?:

Yes, that's the song Marian. "September In The Rain " Dinah Washington's popular version is superb and perhaps considered the best, although recorded by many.
We have Arthur Tracey singing the verse to this one.

So your turn Marian :)

Hi Marian, while you think of a verse, here's an easy peasy one meantime.
Dear Face That Holds So Sweet A Smile For Me.
Were You Not Mine How Dark The World Would Be.
I Know No Light Above That Could Replace.
Loves Golden Sunshine In Your Dear Dear Face.

Hi Marian yes, that's the one, "The Sunshine Of Your Smile" .A lovely song.
Recorded by many, even Mike Berry a few years ago.

Here's another...
It was down where fisher folk gather.
I wandered far from the throng.
I heard a fisher girl singing
And this refrain was her song....
