Hi Marian
For the first time ever I walked into work first day back after a holiday, with a spring in my step and a smile as big as Billy Bremner's heart!

I can imagine Gray!
Wonderful result!!
Vinnie Jones was saying how fond he still is of Leeds on CBB last night. I don't
expect he saw the match though, it just holds special memories.
Reading didn't do too bad against Liverpool either. Both our sons were at the match.

Hi Marian
I know what you mean about not knowing who most of the celebs on CBB are - I had a similar feeling about Celebrity Mastermind: I didn't recognise most of them either! It seems anyone can claim the title "celebrity" these days.
My favourite programme over Christmas should have been Doctor Who but it was a disappointing end to the David Tennant era: too long with over-the-top music and a ludicrous plotline. I am glad Russell T Davies (an overrated writer in my opinion) has left, and I'm looking forward to the new series under Steven Moffat.

We were thinking of you Gray and wondered if you were actually at the match.
We know what it means, so really pleased for you.

Re: CHRISTMAS TV 2009
Hi,Jon. Fully agree about Russell T. A similar You won't see me for dust stunt was pulled a few years back by the horror author Clive Barker, who is now either a writer in LA or-as evidened by his promo photo's- a matinee-idol/icon. Interestingly, Christopher Eccleston and Robson Greene also sampled the, I'm really too much of a talent to be contained by the mere British Isles route...Soon come back,Luvvies

I thought the final episode of Doctor Who was very disappointing too Jon.
Very slow, much too much dialogue and not enough action.

Hi Lena & Marian
Thanks for your kind words re Leeds, and yes, Marian, Reading almost pulled off a terrific win too.
I have yet to watch Dr Who, it is taped, but thanks for your honest appraisals of it.
If I don't get to view I won't be too fussed.

Re: CHRISTMAS TV 2009
Gray, can Leeds cope without Jermaine Beckford ? - who seems a snip at 2-3 million

Re: CHRISTMAS TV 2009
Perhaps Leeds will sign up Mr Graham Lawson to help them win the cup---if enthusiasm counts for anything, they will then sail through !!!!!

Re: CHRISTMAS TV 2009
Well, it's funny you mention me playing profeesional football because modesty has prevented me from letting you in on a little secret - I very nearly made it as a 'pro' and was told I only lack one thing: 'Talent'.
'Course there's life after Beckford, Robert.
He's not bigger than my club, if he doesn't want to play for Leeds , he can just jolly well bog-off.
Good riddence to him.
(But I hope he scores a hat-trick on Saturday if he stays!)

We seem to be on the same wave length here Gray,... never dwell on anything ..No one is indispensable. On yer bike.
Re: CHRISTMAS TV 2009
I always remember my father-in-law saying as an example that no one is indispensable," just take your hand out of a bucket of water, once the water settles, it is as if it was never there"!
All the best to Leeds.
