What Movies Have Been Playing On Your DVD/Video Lately?

Gray, you're not nosey at all, I always like to discuss films. Last night watched "Dr Syn The Scarecrow" with Patrick McGoohan and Tony Britton. A Walt Disney classic!

Hi Gray. Dr Syn Alias The Scarecrow was released in 1963, also known under another title "The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh". It was originally shown in the sixties on TV in 3 episodes because it is well over 2 hours in length, however the version I have is an edited version unfortunately. It was released on dvd a few years ago, the uncut version, and is now deleted and fetches a pretty high price. My copy is from the TV, still good, but about half an hour shorter unfortunately. A good film though, with an excellent cast, about smugglers.

Watched'PUBLIC ENEMIES'this afternoon(borrowed from my grandaughter)-however,like 'TITANIC',I hoped for a different ending!

Last night I watched a couple of PBS Music Specials, wonderful performances from the likes of Patti Page, Ed Ames, The Four Aces, The Four Prep plus many more all singing fantastically some 50 years on. I can watch these over again, and the applause from the audiences are fantastic, they really appreciate it.
