I thought of the wife from Little Britain, Edgar, but it was hard to convey it on here, apart from......................................MARGARET.................................................................................................................."Yes"

Yes, a drink or two after the show sounds great. :) This will not be a repeat of the Johnny Mathis concerts for Marian---back at her hotel room at 9:30!

I'm staying at the Premier Travel Inn. Probably others are too. I stayed at one at Gatwick and it was nice and clean, with a good bed. I recall they only have liquid soap and no American washclothes, so I'll bringing a few bars of soap! Also they didn't allow me to check in prior to 14:00, so it's best not to arrive too early! But perhaps you could call ahead and arrange an early check-in.

Full English buffet breakfast is extra (7.50 pounds) but very good ... sorry no bagels and salmon, Edgar. I can already taste the mushrooms, tomatoes, and English bacon! The restaurant has a Beefeater restaurant, and there's The Grapes Pub around the corner. We could go to one of those places. I've never been to an English pub, only to a Welsh pub in Caerphilly for Sunday roast.

I hope many can join us after the show!

Hi Paul---yes that all sounds great--I am certainly going to make up for my time in my hotel room in Manchester!!

I think we are all going to have a lot to chat about, and I am looking forward to it all more and more.

Yes, that sounds good to me too. And don't worry about the bagels, you just can't beat a nice piece of bacon and a full English breakfast

I checked my Premier Travel Inn directory and black pudding is not one of the featured items on their full English breakfast buffet. So once again I won't be able to try it! :!:

I did some research on the London Transport website. I will likely take the Piccadilly Line from Covent Garden to Heathrow and then take Bus 140 toward Harrow Weald/Wealdstone Inn, getting off at Hesa Road. Then it's a short walk to 362 Uxbridge Road. Another option is to take the Central Line to Northolt and then take Bus 140 to Hayes/Grapes.

Marian and anyone else - Let me know if you would like any more locating information.

HI Paul-I would rather avoid the tube if possible-I was planning to go from Paddington main line to Hayes--I think? Is that a feasible option--I would then get a cab to the hotel.

Hi All,

The "Fans reunited" evening sounds like a lot of fun.
Please do take a few pictures on the night and maybe we could have a section on the website with all of the photos on. If you like, we could put a nice caption under each one!
I wonder if you guys will be drinking any sherry on the night!

Paul - What a nice picture of you on the website.
At long last we now get to see the real you!

Hi everyone - very jealous at you all having a great night - and getting to meet! Hopefully next year!

I thought it was Port that one passed Marian lol - and I KNOW that your camera will be working hard that night.

Paul - great to see a pic at last, and I think you are doing the right thing taking the tube. The line is out in the open after Earls Court, so you still get some great views of London suburbs! I travel in London every day, and while I would love to take a bus (no, honest, I would!) and take in the views, they are just not practical for the 15 or so mile journey to Hayes. The tube journey is about 45 minutes, as you are probably aware. Hatton Cross used to be the end of the line, serving Heathrow Airport. If you look carefully at the mosaic tiling in the station, you can still see the old BOAC 'Speedbird' logos everywhere! Hmmm - plane spotting and station architecture - thats my street cred blown

isn't it funny how all those funny Little Britain catch phrases caught on so quickly! I liked the old school teacher who taught at 'Kelsey Grammar' - although I'm not sure he had a catchpharase as such!
Michael

Here I go again, I hear those trumpets blow again.......

Hi Lena and Harry,

I too would love to go but as Mike said, there is always next year.
Go easy on the Sherry/wine/beer/diet coke or water!
Maybe we will see something about the reunion in one of the national newspapers! On the other hand I guess they will want to see a bit of flesh before they will print any story!

Hi all, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we wish you could all be there with us! But hopefully there will be another next year--and the year after etc etc..
