Snowmageddon!

Post by Marian » Sat Feb 06, 2010 7:32 pm

Large areas of the East Coast of America are apparently getting hit by the heaviest snowfall for 90 years. It is being described as Snowmageddon!
Paul reckoned where he lives could be getting up to 24 inches of snow, and other parts could get 30 inches, and we think we had it bad!
Hope you are alright Paul, and any other of our U.S friends in the affected area.
Keep snug at home if you can. You have Matt to help you through.
Marian :)

Thanks Marian. It is still snowing here; we are now on nonstop 27 hours. And we are getting 6 more inches on Tuesday into Wednesday. I lost power for three hours during the night. A church has collapsed and a hangar at Dulles airport also. I did walk outside to look at my car which has been plowed in and covered with at least two feet of snow. But I have plenty of food to eat. Too bad "The Book" hasn't arrived yet, but I have plenty of Matt Monro music to listen to and projects to work on!

Thank you for replying Paul under such awful conditions. We hope you don't lose power again, but I suppose it is always a possibility.
At least you have food, and lots of work to do I expect!
We will be thinking of you.

Oh Paul-that sounds just awful--I just emailed you about 10 minutes ago to ask if you were Ok--silly me-I had not realised you were so close to the bad weather. We are thinking of you--just snuggle down, listen to Matt-and think of your friends in Uk !!
