Hi Paul--the Beverley sisters were like a British Andrews sisters, I guess--sang a lot of novelty songs, very popular at one time. I saw them on a Tv show recently and they still looked good , I thought.

I think the reason why Harry and Lena put "mummy" in the last song title, is that we just do not use "Mommy " over here!

Here are the words to that sad song--Nat King Cole also sang it--a very sad little tune also--a real tearjerker !

Now here's another easy one........

Everbody stops and stares at me.

It would have to be All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth. Actually I've never heard that opening lyric.

I thought the "mummy" in the title was funny! It reminds me of my dilemma when I go to your card shops trying to find a "mother" or "parents" card for my mom and dad. It's not that easy, but sometimes I find something!

Here is one of my favourite opening lyrics. I've reached the point where I don't even want to hear the song without the opening lyric. It's that good.

Christmas makes you feel emotional
It may bring parties or thoughts devotional
Whatever happens or what may be,
Here is what Christmas time means to me.

I believe the lyric to Jingle Bells begins with "Dashing through the snow".

I think Lena and Harry's lyric is from Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, or should I say Father Christmas Is Coming To Town?

Since I'm not sure, I won't supply a new opening lyric yet. But I'll have one ready for Wednesday evening!
