Hi Mark,

Blazing Saddles would be in my top comedies list, too.

We prefer watching DVds to television these days and have a very varied taste from Comedy to Drama.

We too enjoy Mel Brooks films. Another favourite is Jack Lemmon (The Apartment, Days of Wine & Roses, Mister Roberts etc) and of course teamed with Walter Matthau (The Odd Couple I & II, Buddy Buddy, Grumpy Old Men I & II etc).

The list is far too long to include here - you would all be asleep before you got to the end!

Maureen & Harry :) :)

Oh, I LOVE Jack Lemmon!!!
The Odd Couple is one of my favourites, even now when I go supermarket shopping with my family I will pick up a melon, squeeze, it, smell it and say to a total stranger "another couple of days". :)

He was terrific in The Great Race too as the villain along with Peter Falk.

Valkyrie with Tom Cruise, directed by Bryan Singer, such a brilliant movie based on the real life events of a plot to assainate Hitler. I'd recomended this to anyone who hasn't seen it an incredible story and one that definatley needs to be remembered.

I knew I'd mentioned it before.

I know it has John, we have had so much merchandise coming from everywhere lately, so I thought i'd do a bit of cataloguing today and as it was crap night on the box, and Harry was on the PC, I thought I would watch this one.
I remember seeing it years ago, but still funny to see again. :) :)
