:?: From the Rent soundtrack or another recording, Marian?

I'm finished with another excellent Alan Titchmarsh's Melodies For You and now on to the David Jacobs Collection with Matt Monro's Put On A Happy Face from Bye Bye Birdie.

I forgot to say that it was the version by Johnny Mathis, from his "Mathis on Broadway " cd.

Listening to "Matt Monro Sings the Classics," a welcome addition to our collection from my "Goodie bag". Many thanks to The Monro family.

:D Isn't our goodie bag CD great?! I have never seen it in the record stores. I have almost all the songs on other collections, but have never heard A Time For Love. It's on my A Time For Love Matt Monro CD that I've been saving for a rainy day. A Time For Love is a beautiful song, perfect for the springtime.

Marian from Kent: Could I please have a copy of Seasons Of Love by Johnny Mathis? Thanks! Just bring it for next year's Fans Reunited since your Post Office is on strike. Right now I have so much to listen to from my trip anyway.

Hopefully, the postal strikes will be over before next year Paul!!!

Yes, all our goodie bag goodies are great! Have you listened to the radio show yet? The photos are really good to have too. :D :D :D

No, I haven't had a chance to listen to the radio show yet. Yesterday I listened to Richard Moore's excellent high school choir CD all day long. Tomorrow I'll start with the brass band CDs Lena and Harry made for me.

The photos are great. The lyric book is probably the best goodie of all. Which one is Matt Monro in the photo of the servicemen? I think it's on page 3.

(I'm currently listening to this morning's Ken Bruce programme. Katie Melua is in the live lounge.)

I bought the lyric book last year, but now Peter and I have one each!
Matt is the one reclining at the front in the photo Paul, and he's on the left in the photo below.

Listening to Paul Potts. His album One Chance has a grand version of Nessun Dorma.

Paul is of course a former mobile phone salesman and more recently 'Britain's Got Talent' victor.

The songs are performed with the London Symphony Orchestra showing off his incredible power and vocal range.

Hi Robert

Paul Potts is extremely lucky that his recording company has this massive campaign to launch him in Asia. That's why his CDs are in all the shops here at 20% discount. You can't miss him.....huge posters everywhere. He is selling well too as the shops play his CDs non-stop. Wish there was such a campaign for Dame Shirley's Get The Party Started now that she has signed with Decca to release the album worldwide.

Just been listening to Eric Hall's programme, he was speaking to Al Martino who has just celebrated his 80th birthday. As well as playing about 5 of his songs, he also played Vera Lynn, Perry Como and our Matt as well. What great taste!! 8) :D
