I watched Up Pompeii last week - the movie -it's been a while since I'd seen it and I had forgotten just how many gags there are in it - literally one a line!

Best line for me was the soothesayer wailing,
"Oh Woe to Gomorrah, woe to you all, woe to Gomorrah!!.....and Sodom!"

I watched the 100th anniversary tribute to Oscar Hammerstein today on DVD the one you kindly sent me about three years ago Marian I remembered about it after watching the Rogers and Hammerstein concert at the weekend.

Last night watched " A French Mistress", a British comedy film with Cecil Parker and James Roberston Justice.

We hadn't seen it before either Lena and Harry, about a boy's school that gets a new female (young) french teacher. Irene Handl adds to the fun as well, a good film.

Yes, she always brought a smile to your face, she was just naturally funny.

Just watched The Sea Wolves on tv from 1980. Very distinguished cast.
Great to hear the whole song 'The Precious Moments' sung at the end of the film by of course, our Matt.

I took my girls to see a new movie at the cinema today, caled Diary of a Whimpy Kid.
By gum it was funny.
