Many thanks everyone for your kind comments. I spoke to my Uncle last night, he has coped so well on his own the last year, and he is nearly 87. He has good neighbours though plus the family make sure he is o.k.

We wish you Many Happy Returns of the Day for tomorrow Freda, and we also hope your grandchildren enjoyed themselves yesterday. Being at Uni I'm sure they did!

Many thanks John. He has had a quiet kind of day today, but has been out celebrating the last two weekends so needs a break sometime!
His brother is coming home next weekend so it will probably involve another celebration and probably a family meal all together. We look forward to that.

A very happy birthday from me also. You are a really special person, and this forum would not be the same without you.
At this point, I would like to say a belated Happy Bithday to another special lady, who had a birthday last week-another good friend to us all, it is our Lovely Lena.
I know that the sad news about Al Martino would have overshadowed the day, but hope you have managed some celebrating since.
