Watched a cracking thriller/chiller last night called 'Oculus'.
Very creepy.

It was an American independent film, but it starred a girl from Doctor Who.

oh yeah Occulus very scary movie. The girl was Karen Gillian.

I picked up two scary videos today and will watch them probably sometime.

The Quiet Ones - which is done by the Hammer Company so it has to be scary!!!

The Sacrament - this one looked creepy by the box and it kinda like The Jones Town Massacre.


Anyway will watch when I have a chance. Looking forward to Doctor Who tomorrow.. Gee it feels like Christmas!!!

We saw this a few weeks ago Gray, yes, a good film.
Last night watched an "oldie", "The Family Way" with Hayley and John Mills, Hywel Bennett and Marjorie Rhodes. I have never seen this before for some reason, but a really good film with fine performances from all the cast.

Any body seen Deadman Walking ....amazing film ....not many films have affected me this way ...Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon ...their finest hours in my humble opinion ....

Yep I still have DVD's that have the shrink wrap on them, just never got around to them LOL
Gray - The Other Ones what can I say but WOW!!! It's about a professor who's a little bit off and he leads a team of students to cure a disturbed person and they all go to this house and that's when the fun begins.. All I can say is it's a pretty good thrill ride for 98 minutes. The ending is classic done in a modern Hammer fashion. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was when they try to make it with the "shaky cam" thing like all those other investigative type horror films.. I think you should watch it or at least rent it from one of those RED BOX machines on an afternoon/evening when you don't have much going. Ha ha. I'll admit being a big chicken that there were parts that made me jump!!! Shhhhh..I had to watch Disc 1 of Last Tango In Paris Series 2 right after it..Just like the old Hammer films this one really sticks with you.

Haven't gotten around to The Sacrament yet.

Was only thinking about The Family Way today ...........I remember watching it on TV in late 60's or early 70's ........John Mills was quite comical (OK a bit thick) when he is told his daughter is in the club........."what club" he says .......very funny
