Hey, Lena and Harry, so pleased you got it at last!! Very well done..
"Taking a Chance on Love" it certainly was..
I didn't think it was too difficult, but then, I knew the answer!

I am cross with myself that I did not get "Taking a chance on Love"--I got as far as "Love and Chance" but could get no further--on top of that, I have been trying to think of a clue for that same song!!

Nice clue Marian. !

The only one I can think of is SPEAK SOFTLY LOVE, but I don't think it's right.

The only one I can put it down to is "Lulu's Back In Town" - ie............Lulu = "Shout" and Town = "Countryside". If that is the wrong answer, I don't know any other songs on the "Rare Monro" that will fit your clues L&H
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

I will await confirmation from those two pesky Londoners   I thought the first clue should have been - opposite Lulu, not a Lulu song   thats if I am right, of course :?:
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(
