Cases are damaged in transit all the time-very bad design-too late to change now!
Just had a 3CD set of Tony Bennett CDs from same company as the MM one-same story!

Morning all,

According to our local HMV store, Matt Sings is only available to order if you want to order the CD from them.
Yes, they do have the CD details on their computer but they will not be getting any copies into the store to put out on display.

It's a shame really as not everyone has a computer so they can't order via the net. Also if Matt fans look in the Matt Monro section in HMV and see that the new CD isn't there they will think that all of the copies have gone and may not ask the sales assistant if the CD can be ordered etc.

Never mind I guess that this is how it is and we can't do much about it. We shall continue to spread the word that there is a new release out there from the wonderful Matt. :D :wink: 8)

One of the reasons why HMV can deliver so reasonably from www.hmv.co.uk is that their site is in Jersey a la www.play.com and therefore avoid VAT!
The easy Listening&Jazz stock in most HMV shops is very poor!

We've often wondered if their despatch site was Australia Robert and brought over by rowing boat, but actually the play .com CDs are delivered from Jersey. :lol:

Have just received our copy of Matt Sings, absolutely marvellous,
Ordered fromPlay.com, price £2.99, unfortunately the C.D. case was broken, as it seems others were.
