Yes Robert, Ray has the personality and he sang well this evening. The Way You Look Tonight".
I found that Leona was making me reach for the volume, I thought that she'd lost her voice when she began to sing "I Will Always Love You" :shock: admittedly it's the type of song's requirement.
You can see Ray on Youtube, singing "Ain't That A Kick In The Head" and "What A Wonderful World."

I think poor Leona had tonsillitis, is it was not the best song for her last night. I agree she is very talented--but not my type of singer.

She is 70 today and has a new CD single out......The Living Tree.
It is available for download at her official site.
The single will be in stores later.

It is hard to believe that Dame Shirley is 70. She looked and sounded so good last time she was on Tv-not that long ago.

Yes "Happy Birthday" Shirley Bassey. :D Stayed top of the list of female vocalists for over Fifty yeays. :lol:
