I thought you might have said Jack Jones for "IF" Lena, rather than Telly Savalas. It is one of Jack's most famous songs. :? :?

Ah !! of course I should have done Marian, but "IF " is the song that so many associate with this lollypop sucking guy. In fact when it hit the airwaves around Kojak's time and even long after, :) I thought it was his only ever recording. :roll:

We have always generally bought the "British Hit Singles," but I think this has now been combined with the hit albums.

This is a coincidence---after me writing about Gigliola Cinquetti coming 2nd to Abba in Eurovision just yesterday--I have just realised that it is exactly 25 years ago TODAY that Abba won Eurovision and Gigliola came 2nd--if I had realised that, I would have kept that post till today !
