Hi Marian

Can I have your opinion of The Judy Garland TV show in which Jack Jones appeared as a guest? I already have the Christmas show and he was great there. This is the other one with Mel Torme & Diahann Carrol.

I'm not sure Terence, so many thanks for the link. I have a boxed set of Judy Garland and I must admit I've not watched them all, so I'll have to check.
I'll have to find the key to the locked cabinet first though!!!!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol:

I didn't have it Terence, so thank you for your info. and link to Amazon.com
At first I thought I probably wouldn't be able to play it, but then I realised my VCR can play NTSC tapes and DVDs, so hopefully it will be fine.
I bought the last copy, although there are cheaper second hand ones there too.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the link.
I do have that clip on the Morecambe and Wise video #9. Jack was so thin then, I think it was the year he collapsed and had to be flown home in the middle of his UK tour.

I've just had a message from Amazon.com Terence, to say the Judy Garland/JJ DVD has been posted. Fingers crossed again!!!! :wink:

I have a friend...Carolyn, who stays in the Algonquin Hotel in New York quite a lot.
About 6 months ago, Jack Jones was appearing there in caberet so she went to see him. Apparently he was seriously good. I am a big fan of Jack
and his music. He is a top class singer.

Music performed by Matt Monro, Frank Sinatra and their piers. I once made an album with Humphrey Lyttelton. I play harmonica. The latest CD " Baz with the Jazz legends" is selling well. ( I sell it via my website)
