Shirley looks really good in the picture but while money can camouflage the wrinkles and pay for natural hair wigs, no money on earth can pay for her deteriorating veins, muscles and bones that comes with the inevitable ageing process. rather than seeing shock pictures later of these stars and celebrities when they have had to finally surrender, it's best to grow old gracefully but gradually.

SHIRLEY Bassey's estranged grand-daughter suffers a double blow when she makes a bid for stardom on The X Factor.

She flunks her audition — and her long-lost gran is set to beat her to a place on the show.

Welsh diva Dame Shirley, 72, has been lined up to be a guest performer on a live Saturday episode where she will sing and give advice to hopefuls.

Tatjana Novak-Kimsey, 17, said she was desperate for her gran to see her sing on the show. But it looks like it will be the other way round.

Tatjana tries to impress judges with Faith Hill's song, There You'll Be, aired this weekend.

But sources say although Simon, Louis, Cheryl and Dannii loved her personality they didn't feel she had a voice to match gran's.

I had read about this girl Terence. Although she is Dame Shirley's granddaughter, she is the daughter of her adopted son, so would not have any blood connection to inherit any of Dame Shirley's talented genes.
