We may hear something today, after the Bank Holiday.
We didn't get an e-mail from Amazon when we received the other half of this order... Frankiie Vaughan's DVD, so it may just arrive. :(

Amazon UK has certainly underestimated Matt Monro's appeal and ordered too few copies. The sales rank at the site for this release is only 2,506. Obviously more copies can be sold and the sales rank will be higher if they had the stock. My friends and I are unable to purchase this title from them for the time being. Perhaps they should have listed it as temporarily "out of stock" and still accepted orders rather than what they are doing now which makes it seem as if this particular title is out of print.

The whole CD is amazing, and the DVD equally as good.
The quality of sound, the clarity of vision, unbelievable.
Can't believe those audiences of the time though-VERY RESTRAINED!
If you've not ordered it already DO IT NOW,it's the ultimate treasure.

Maybe they sent the first email to all orders they received for the CD/DVD, and then realised they shouldn't have included all who had pre-ordered.
Anyway, it's great to know they are on the way! :D :D

I have watched the dvd, absolutely love it. I love "Saturday Night at the Mill", Matt sings a medley of Portait of My Love, Walk Away and Born Free to perfection. A great interview with some amusing moments followed by a super "If I Never Sing Another Song". Great to see Matt singing "Curiouser and Curiouser" on the Cilla Black show, plus a comic routine with Cilla and Leslie Crowther and then a performance everytone has been waiting for, "Thanks" from Morecombe and Wise show. The 30 minute special "Matt sings Monro" is just as good featuring some of Matt's biggest hits plus a super performance of "Maria". :D :D
