I was thinking the same L&H ..............he sounded as though his batteries are beginning to fade :(

One of our favourites of Matt's on David's programme... I'll Take Romance. We are grateful and think it's really generous of David to play so many of our Matt's songs when we consider the many other artists that there are. :)

I played Matthew Morrison's cd again I really like this album, I also had a copy sent to Jim from Amazon that's when he called to thank me - five days later he passed away. I am glad we spoke that day and he sounded so well, we even spoke about Christmas.

Listening to the D.i.c.k.i.e Valentine CD Finger of Suspicion tonight :) ..............there was a documentary on TV a few months back about the London Palladium in which they spoke to his son, who looked the spitting image of his father :)

Dickie Valentine is still so underrated---I am sure there is a lot more in his back catalogue that could be released--I have a great record called "Heartful of song" where he sings songs like--"I've got you under my skin " "For all we know" "The mmod I'm in " " Something good" "Old devil Moon" "Who can I turn to "---never heard any of those on radio. And his recording of "Long before I knew you" is one of my top favouite tracks ever.
